Its official now! Nokia has announced that the highly anticipated Nokia N97 smartphone will be on sale from June 19th in more than 75 countries. Nokia hasn’t detailed exactly which countries will start seeing N97 shipments roll in, but it’s safe to say they will most likely include most of the European markets, as well as North America.

The Nokia N97 marks the Finns’ first high end touchscreen device and packs in top specs. Most notably you’ll find HSDPA, WiFi, aGPS, a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, physical sliding Qwerty keyboard, 32GB storage, etc. The official price announced for Nokia N97 is $699 for US and £499 for UK. Missing Facebook on your Nokia 5800? Well no more, its available here finally for free. The official Facebook application for S60 5th Edition phones like Nokia 5800 and N97 is out on Nokia’s OVI store.

The application is a runtime widget and work both in landscape and portrait mode. It has almost all the features you can expect from a Facebook mobile client, though it feels a little slow to use. Ok here is another contest for Tube5800 users after the super successful ‘MyPhone’ contest. “nUnlock“ is a cool little application which can change the way you unlock your screen and replaces it with an iPhone type slide unlocker.

It is a simulation of the iphone lock screen, you need to first unlock your 5800 with the unlock key! When the iphone lock screen pops up, you can slide the screen to “unlock” the phone, also you can still use the Green, Menu, Red keys of your 5800. nUnLock also supports all S60 3rd phones (like N95, N96 etc) without touch screen, you can just press the right key to simulate the slide!
