Missing the on-screen clock in the power-save mode of the Symbian third edition devices? We are,  but unfortunately there is no fix for that yet on the touch based fifth edition. While we are hoping the Symbian team will bring the on-screen clock in the standby screen to our Tube 5800s soon, our friends at Offscreen Technologies have come up with an application that features a full screen analogue clock for s60 fifth edition devices.

How many times have you encountered a zip/rar file while browsing for apps/games/themes for your 5800? You have probably lost count of it and so have we. This is kinda frustrating when we are browsing directly from our Nokia 5800s and there is no way for uncompressing the downloaded files.

We were scouting the web in search of an app to handle compressed files on our phone and thats when we came across one of the better known compression tools- Winrar. Winrar, doesn’t need any introduction, does it? Anyone who has ever used  a PC/Mac should be familiar with this powerful tool. Its been long since we last reviewed a theme here as we got a big jumbo 100 Nokia 5800 themes collection for you few months ago and didn’t felt the need for more themes here. But today we came across with Azenis XM theme by DSMA, which is probably one of the best designed free themes available for Tube 5800, so we couldn’t stop ourselves from giving it a shot.

Time Machine, the ultimate countdown/ stopwatch app for symbian fifth edition was updated to v2 couple of weeks ago and as usual we decided to give it a spin on our tube 5800. After toying around with the app for 2 days, we are totally convinced that this is the best timer app.
