eyeSight, the innovative Symbian developers who are hell bent on not letting us tap on our touchscreen symbian phones, have launched another one of theirs interactive games for 5800s- Interactive Christmas Card.

If you recall eyeCall, which we covered earlier this year: it offered a touch-free interface to answer/reject incoming calls using the front facing camera of the 5800s. This time around the folks at eyeSight have moved to the higher resolution rear camera and merged it a control unit for their christmas themed game-Interactive Christmas Card. Do you love frogs? Nevermind even if you despise them for this fun little game- Froga will change you perception of frogs, and if not that it will atleast entertain you with its puzzles.

Frogs and puzzles? And don’t the leaves look like Pac-Man? Yeah you are right with both the observations, for the first: the puzzles are more like block-2-go or Bulldozer and for that uncanny resemblance to Pac-Man of the leaves, we have no answer. May be we should knock at the doors of interActive (developers of Froga) for an answer, or may be Namco (developers of Pac-man) will! Famous for their applications on the Windows Mobile platform, Resco have been pretty active across other platforms as well. One of such applications on the symbian platform is Resco Photoviewer which  was first launched way back in 2007, the golden years of Nokia’s dominance in the smartphone segment with the unparalleled success of Nokia N95.

Well Nokia as well as we as consumers have come a long way and so has Resco with their Photoviewer which is now into v5.01 beta. Whats the deal with Resco Photoviewer? Well, it packs in quiet a punch with its kinetic scrolling and true image editing tools, that are presently not offered by the default image browser of our Nokia 5800s. Following on the closed heels of the update from Fring, VoIP/IM client Nimbuzz has updated its client for the symbian fifth edition to v2.2 and no they still haven’t added video calls over VoIP but instead they have integrated twitter into their client now, thereby making it the most comprehensive VoIP/IM client on our 5800s.

While we have always wanted one mighty app that can take care of all our VoIP/IM needs, the twitter integration adds a new twist to the story for there are more powerful and (hence paid) standalone twitter clients in the market (Gravity being our favourite) and to be honest, Nimbuzz doesn’t cut it too close to make us shift entirely from Gravity to Nimbuzz.
