Spotify, one of the better known music streaming services on the mobile platforms has now landed on our 5800s (yeah finally!). The service which has been doing the rounds in the iPhone and Android communities now completes the full circle when it comes to support for different mobile platforms with the newly announced symbian support.

As with their apps on iPhone and Android, the app is available only for premium subscribers of Spotify (£9.99/month). Twitter is one of the most happening networking services today and tweeting has caught on to the imagination of most of the net savvy crowd. With 3G/EDGE services becoming more a necessity than luxury these days, mobile devices are increasingly being used for tweeting. There are a number of twitter clients available for 5800 and TwitBreeze is one of the most recent to have surfaced on the Ovi store.

Yeah, it has finally landed on our 5800s! After more than a year or since the symbian fifth edition platform went live, our friends in Redmond have finally woken up to its existence and launched an official client for Windows Live Messenger on this platform.

If you have been an avid hotmail user (like we are), you would have probably missed that MSN like feel to the IM windows while using the several third party IM clients like Nimbuzz and Parlingo. Well, now that the official version is out, lets see what it measures up to on our 5800s. Read more »

No, we didn’t mis-spell the app name nor or we referring to the Roger Moore starer 1981 Bond movie “For Your Eyes Only”. Infact we are talking about a symbian application, which couldn’t have been named any better! For Your Ears Only brings that iPod like functionality of auto-pause of music player when the ear/headphones is disconnected from the phone.

While there are motion controlled bluetooth headsets from Sony Ericsson (MH907) today, that can auto-play music when they are unplugged from the ears, it will probably cost you flesh and bone to get this feature on your 5800.
