For starters: Mobile Apps Showdown is a popularity contest for mobile apps across different mobile platforms. That is all mobile apps irrespective of their platforms, compete against each other for the coveted title. 20 apps across different mobile platforms have been chosen for this megashowdown and every netizen can cast as many as 25 votes to push their favorite apps to the top position. Needless to say, its a numbers game and its not only a popularity contest for the apps but also of the mobile platforms. So our fellow 5800ers, please do cast your vote at the Ballot box and show the world just how good a device and platform our 5800 and symbian fifth edition are.
What did we vote for? It’s anybody’s guess- Gravity, undoubtedly the best twitter client available on the symbian platform. The twitter app is presently in the fourth position and lets hope our post here urges more 5800ers to vote and push Gravity to the top position by January 8th, by which the voting will seize.
