The team at MMMOOO after the mega success of ‘MyPhone Infinite’ have come up with another cool application. They have recently launched ‘M1′ which is a Google Android emulator for Symbian based phones like Nokia 5800 and N97.
M1 is the first Android UI shell for S60 devices and it fully emulates the Android UI on your Nokia phone. In M1, you can drag the home screen left and right like in Android. Each page can add and delete icons. You can also lock the phones when you don’t use them.
MMMOOO blog describes M1 as- “M1 is also a flash based launcher interface like MyPhone. The idea comes from HTC G1, the first Android based smart phone. M1 can run on both S60 5th based phones (5800 XM, N97) and S60 3rd based phones (N96, N95 8GB), touch screen supported. You can drag screen left and right like in Android and move icons to desktop or the bar.
We make M1 aiming to give a virtual experience of Android to those who use Nokia phones, especially for 5800 and N97, they will have the more wonderful experience.”

Features:
Fully emulates Android™ UI- Quick launcher to S60 Nokia Samsung apps
- Add, Rearrange & Delete every icon on the home screen for S60 5th models; Add & Delete every icons on the home screen for S60 3rd models
- Supports touch screen
- Key lock
- Registration module inside: Ensure M1 owner enjoy dedicated MMMOOO Premium Service with distinguish guarantee.
Infos to know:
1. If you use this application all the time, it consumes more battery.
2. This application cannot replace the original functions of S60, eg, when opening a SMS, you will go back to original S60 UI.
3. M1 will keep updating in timeline, and every owner of M1 will get free updates for life.

M1 comes with a free trial with a few limitations like you can not move icons to the home screen. The full version comes cheap at just $4.99. So turn your Nokia 5800 into a Google Android with M1.

The latest info I got with the developers is that there was a bug in their free trial download page, its fixed now. You can try downloading the file again and let us know.

I’ve downloaded MyPhone very long back but didn’t end up buying it. The flash file is still there on my phone. But now when I run android simulation application, as soon as it starts it shows that the trial ended, whereas, I’ve never even entered the application once. Do you think anything can be done to help me with this?

1-dont have a credit card
2-scared that if i use my dads they will rip every penny there is in it
3- id rather if one of u guys sent me the setup file my email is XXXXXXXXXXX (Removed by Admin)
please please do ill be very thankful
Wednesday, July 1st, 2009 at 3:18 pm
@Ahmad- Bro,why do you think they will misuse your credit card info? Let me assure you they CAN’T DO that even if they want. This is because transactions are done via Paypal’s secure server and credit card info is not stored anywhere.
No merchant gets the privilege to even see the credit card number or other details about the buyers. The whole e-commerce is done on this principle. So go ahead!!
One more advice- do not leave your email id publicly visible anywhere on this site or anywhere on net. You will start getting loads of junk mails with courtesy of spammers

But you still can’t run Android apps. Get a real Android! Note: this is not an EMULATOR, it’s a simulator (world of difference).
