Farm Frenzy- Farming Games Now on Nokia 5800

Cashing in on the popularity of the farm games on Facebook, HeroCraft have launched Farm Frenzy, an entertaining farming game for symbian fifth edition devices.

We don’t know what is but the genre of farming games is suddenly the “in thing” on Facebook, with Farm Town constantly figuring in the Top 10 of the most popular facebook games of the month since the second half of this year. May be its the urbanized society’s way of getting to know the lifestyle of their rural ancestors, without having to travel miles at a stretch to get the feel of rural landscape and workstyle that’s driving this genre of games in the market. Now that it has arrived on 5800s, let’s see how it fares, after the break.

That looks very much like the Farm Town and Happy Farms on the Facebook, ain’t it? If you have ever played these games on Facebook, you would know the objectives of this game but for the benefits of the uninitiated, lets take a look at the YouTube clip below highlighting the rules and gameplay of Farm Frenzy:

Verdict

We are so accustomed to playing this genre of games on facebook, that the game is not even half as fun as its facebook counterparts. Dont get us wrong, there is nothing wrong with the game as such but its just that there is no networking touch to it, that makes it kinda boring. The fun of stealing from a friend’s farm is something we sorely miss in Farm Frenzy. Having said that, we should add that Farm Frenzy is a very engrossing game and save the facebook integration (the lack of it), it makes to our list of “must have” games on 5800s.
