A beta version of Fring chat application is out now for your Nokia 5800 Smartphone. Since many of you are aware that the current version of Windows Messenger for Nokia 5800 is no longer working, so here comes the alternate and probably better solution for your chat needs.
For those of you who don’t know what’s Fring, its a very popular chat client for your cellphone that includes support for Skype, MSN Messenger, Google Talk, ICQ, SIP, Twitter, Yahoo! and AIM. You can listen to music with your Last.fm friends, check out what each other are up to on Facebook, receive alerts of new Google Mail and tailor make your very own fring by adding more cool experiences from fringAdd-ons.
Please note that this is NOT the final version of Fring, it is the under-development BETA version and you may witness some BUGS in it while using it on your Nokia Tube.
But still, its worth a download to try out on your new Nokia 5800. We will update you as soon as the final version of Fring is out for Nokia 5800 (S60 V5 Support).

i downloaded fring nd intalled it on my 5800…it starts fine but wen starts to login to my messenger account its closes and starts again frm the beginning…my fone virsion iz 11.0.008 nd my product code iz not listed in the update section…

Dear Admin,
Gimme solution for Fring installation.
1) I have firmware version 2
2) While I try installing and error message says certificate.
3) Though I read couple of bloggers say that format the whole firware which I dont want to.
Try gimme solution without affecting my new version of firmware.

Hello guys, has anyone actually managed to make a phone call on skype using this Fring version for Nokia 5800. I have no 5800 myself but trying to get my girlfriend to install it on hers so i save on my credit

I have successfullay installed fring on my 5800. When I try to connect through wi-fi it says “unable to connect to the fring network”
