The applications include some cool music tools like a Touch Screen Piano and Guitar. A Card Matching Game, Classic Dice Game, and a Bubbles Game are also in the pack. We bring to you all the details, download links and video demos right here.
Applications:
Some cool music applications are available for download for the XpressMusic phone including a Piano and a guitar. Touch Piano turns your 5800 phone into a musical instrument and allows you to play music using the virtual keys. Touch Guitar also presents you unlimited possibilities of music creation by pressing the chords and strumming the strings just like a real guitar.
Other applications include a Talking Cambridge Dictionary, few widgets and upcoming ‘Avatar SMS’ and ‘Mail for Exchange’ applications. Check all the applications details and download right from Nokia Hong Kong website.
Games:
Touch Card Match is a card matching game with a touch screen style. Touch Popper is a cool game for bursting bubbles on the screen and Motion Dice Box is an exciting dice game to play with your friends. All available at the same Nokia HK page here.

lets face it, 3 or 4 poor apps, barely any good games and a couple of themes that only half work are hardly a match for the iphone! I have hopes for the 5800 but after my N95 8gb it has a lot to live up to (and so far it’s falling a bit short!)

I have got problem with many application running only half the screen and arrow like buttons on other nokia phone appearing in addition to it there are ABCD buttons too. Is this only my problem or are other too having this problem. Would help a lot if any one of could hepl and reply.

Hey, I got my 5800 a few days ago, and ever since I’ve been looking for the Star Trek theme. The one that comes with the Star Trek 5800. But I can’t find it anyway, and I’m going mad. If anyone knows where I can download for free or pay for it I would be so grateful. I’m just really frustrated.

the piano keys are functioning slowly in my set. that is if i press some keys after first key in piano it gets delayed for sometime. say about half a second. is it like this for all the 5800 set?

@ priscilla- try installin the adobe reader first.. make sure ur phone has the latest version updated..n den install bible from mobile9.com n u can download bible files from http://groups.google.com/group/symbianbible/files..
@CNguyen11- u can create ur own theme folder in r memory card to store theme set up files for ur convinience n den install it..
u can do dat directly, no need for any specific THEME folder dude.. jus copy or drag a theme set up file onto ur mem card n install it by simply clickin on it !

Drag and drop the .sis file into your Downloads folder. Then you have to disconnect from your USB cable. Go into the Downloads folder using the File Manager on the Nokia5800 in your Apps. Double tap the .sis file for the theme and it will start installing to your phone. When the installation is complete, you can go change your Theme in Settings/Personal/Themes/General. It takes a while for the new theme to load (a minute or so) and the phone will be sluggish until it finishes loading.

Is there a Nokia 5800 theme that lists apps alphabetically and lets you write the first letter of an application to find it, instead of scrolling up or down to locate it? It can really be boring trying to locate an application on your phone if the device is loaded with lots of apps. Thanks

Just two things on my 5800, no reminder tone for missed calls or unopened messages, just rings once if you don’t hear it you don’t know until you next look at screen. Showing missed calls as the number not name and number.
Anyone know of an app. to change these setting or have I missed something on settings.

i am a user of nokia 5800 from pakistan.piano.guitar,drum.flute doesnt work in 5800.when try 2 install it says format your phoane and then install again,or indian sim card needeeed or certificate error.many apllications doesnt work in pakistan.i have many friends in pakistan using nokia 5800.same problems with them also.please any one help us……..

the camera is not up to the mark but the mob n other ways is really gud…a little laggy…update a new firmware its fast….
cool apps but u need a certificate…u can get it from opda….thn no worries at all…movies are grt to watch……and im one of those bastards who own an 5800 baby,….

I recently upgraded my phone to the series i.e 50…06, also i formated the memory card as my music list could not be refreshed.. All of this ended up into..
1. My main menu shows only 11 icons insted of 12, the download icon is missing.
2. Some application which i had downloaded donot open anymore, even when i have deleted the file from my memory card. They show some kind of key next to its icon.
3. Recently, the installed application icon does open any more, so i cannot delete any of my themes,etc.

Hi, I just installed touch piano, touch guitar and drums to my 5800. Everything went well with no errors but… I fail to locate any of these ANYWHERE. I have only installed 2 other apps before (solitaire and sms timer) and they are where they should be. Also tried restarting the phone but no results. Help please.
