Mippin makes finding content really simple. Use the search box or enter any site address into the box and it will create a fully optimized version of that site instantly (the site must have a valid RSS feed). Alternatively, use the category pages for one-click access to a whole variety of topics, from News and Sport through to Gaming, Fashion and Technology.

To start click one of the ‘Categories’ or use the ‘Search Mippin’ box. Alternatively, just select ‘Entertain Me’ for cartoons, gossip and jokes. We searched for ‘Nokia 5800′ and found Tube5800.com on top listed as “Nokia 5800 ‘Tube’ Blog”. Infact, Tube5800 is in top slot on most of the mobile category pages on Mippin as you can see in the screenshots.

You can also customize your start page, just click on the ‘Personalize’ link and add any content you want, from Horoscopes to Jokes. The Mippin start page has News and Weather pre-installed. If you’d prefer not to see any content, simply click on the cross (x) to the right of each section. If you sign up with Mippin, you can also save your favorite sites and settings - even if you change phones!

To make Mippin even more fun to use, you can now see who else is using the service and view their shared stories and sites. By clicking on someone’s username you can see how similar they are to you, via Mippin’s ’similarity meter’. You can start following them, message them and can view their updates on your start page if you like.

One thing that we did not like about Mippin is the display of images on a feed page. The problem is that when displaying a feed item Mippin doesn’t show images in their original context in the body of the item. Instead it only displays the first image from the item and it displays it the top of the item before any text. If the item spans multiple pages, the same image is shown at the top of every page.

Overall, its a cool tool and good one to have on your Nokia 5800 phone. Mippin is available for free download in Nokia’s OVI Store.
