First ever Multi-Touch game for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic ‘Space Dancer’ is just released. The game developer is the same guy Jamie Fuller, who introduced us with his multitouch possibilities on Nokia 5800. It is still unclear what magical coding he did for making ‘multi-touch’ a reality for Nokia 5800. He also developed the Rotary Dialer application for 5800.
Space Dancer is quite an addicting and enjoyable game. You just have to catch the red lasers with the four onscreen buttons you have in the game. The more you catch, the more you score. You can even post your scores online and compare with the lead scorers.
Play the game in landscape mode, tap the title of the song in the main screen to switch between the three songs/speed levels. The game is still in alpha stage, so expect some improvements in gameplay and features soon when the final version comes out.
Jamie has a leaderboard of top scorers on his site. So score as high as possible and submit your score from your phone. I tried few chances and scored 26800 max, not bad? Err.. top score is 61050 right now… I have to improve a lot.

I think that this multitouch feature in 58hundred is very cool and very innovative but the game at the moment insn’t really a “game” but an “experiment” =) It must grows very much but the road is surely right

multi touch mean dual touch only right? cause it seems i only can touch 2buttons at a time. whenever i reach for the third one, somethin is wrong…

weiqiang, surely the game would be too easy if you could touch more than one button; you could simply hold all the button sand catch all the lasers. not sure whether jamie can code for more than two touches though…

my problem is i already install it..but wen i open it it says in the landscape mode…you need to rotate the phone..
there is no icon there how to make it landscape..i touch it already but nothing gonna happened…
