Here it comes, MyPhone, the best selling application of 5800 just got better. You may know by now that MyPhone v2.20 was made available to the public just a few days ago and no we were not sleeping, infact we were working overnight to unveil the Tube5800 version of MyPhone exclusively for followers of our blog.
Our friends at MMMOOO have been burning the midnight oil along with us and their effort shows in the awesome new feel and feature set of MyPhone v2.20. The pièce de résistance of this new version has to be the all new iPhone style SMS conversation application. Lets check the official changelog and other features.
For those who don’t know what MyPhone is all about, its an application which can simply turn your Nokia 5800 into an Iphone UI. To begin with it, a few screenshots for you to start drooling over

As can be seen from the screenshots above, MyPhone now has a cool GUI to add those third party application icons to the homescreen. The developers have even provided a cool set of icons to choose from that go along with some of the most popular third party apps.

We said iPhone style conversation window, right? Check a few screenshots of that on the left. This gotta be the coolest feature of this app or any app for that matter.
Conversation style SMS is such a delight. We are definitely going to be using this app during texting from now on. Strange that it took almost 9 months since 5800 was released for someone to think about this feature.
Overall, the new version of MyPhone v2.2 is much faster and smoother than all the previous versions. With the new 4×5 icon layout, this is probably as close as we can get to the iPhone style icon interface.
With other goodies like auto-lock, SMS and call notifier along with sketch pad, MyPhone has come a long way from being just an emulator to a full fledged application, truly exceeding the iPhone experience!
Here is the official changelog and features:
Change log in V2.20:
1. MyPhone like SMS conversation, you can schedule the SMS with senders list, easily to read or delete SMS.
2. Add 3rd part icon by pick through list, no needing self input anymore.

With the Tube5800 version, we are bookmarked on your RSS reader by default and you don’t have to bother about that txt file, you need to fiddle with to add a bookmark.

@Sapan- we will try another contest for you, cheers!
@Dave, John- The file should have a “.sis” extension, if your copy doesn’t have any extension, please add .sis to the filename.
@John, Gianmaria- The messages can be set to use in iphone style conversation mode by going to My Settings-> SMS Interface-> MyPhone. You can find “My Settings” on the third screen of the application.

@John: I apologize on developer’s behalf that it happens to you. Yes, the icon with the light switch is for “My Settings”. I think you got your copy corrupt, don’t know why. I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall it and see if it works.
If not, you should contact the developers at their support page- http://shop.immmooo.com/know.php and click “Inquiry” to register your issue or you can also email them at email: cs(at)mmmooo.com.
You should get an immediate response from them and a solution to your complaint and I will make sure they do it fast.

Pardon my 2 cents, but if the 5800 has been so widely promoted as THE iphone killer, then why the need to emulate it so much? Just thinking out loud btw…..(I own the 5800 and I think it’s beautiful just the way it is…)

I have bought it, but the SMS interface is not working….
