Canadian wireless provider Rogers will soon offer the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic handset, if we believe the billboard advertising displayed below. The ad, located at a ‘The Source’ retail store in Ottawa, is reported to be one of many placed across the provider’s locations throughout Canada.
Nokia 5800 has been available in Europe, North American and other markets for a little while, but it has yet to receive carrier support in Canada. That may soon be changing if the Tube phone tie its knots with Rogers.

Tipster “Martin” was over at his local ‘The Source’ store in Ottawa when he happened to see the sign depicted here. He snapped a quick photo, showing us the touch-based Nokia is “coming soon” to Rogers. You can see the Rogers branding in the lower-left corner of the ad.
The sign provides some information about the phone, but there is no indication of pricing or set release dates for the 5800 XpressMusic at Rogers.
This means it should be quite a good summer for Canadians with the HTC Magic, HTC Dream, Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, a couple of BlackBerry handsets and now the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic all expected quite soon. Stay Tuned!

rogers again? they are the worst in all aspects (quality, pricing, service) among the industry players in canada (which are all pretty bad, but still)… and yet they get everything first. thank god i’m soon leaving canada for good.

I’m sure that Rogers will be coming, because there is already a variant of v.21.0.25 that’s for Rogers Wireless
