Good news!! Nokia 5800 NAM is finally back on the shelves in United States now. If you are following us with the US launch news we are covering, you are probably aware that the phone got a flop start due to some 3G signal and speakers issues forcing Nokia to halt sales.
The phone is reportedly fixed and updated now with the latest firmware and is back in stock at flagship stores in Chicago and New York City for sale. This is hopefully a good end of all the launch fiasco we saw in last few days.
Those who got the defective ones earlier can get their handsets fixed or exchanged for new units at flagship stores. And those who pre-ordered the phone online should be receiving their handsets within 1-2 weeks.

So if you are in or nearby Chicago or NYC, rush to the Nokia Flagship Stores to grab your North American Version of 5800 XpressMusic phone.
UPDATE:
For those who bought the defective units earlier in US with 3G problems can fix their phone with the latest firmware Nokia has released- v20.2.014. It is available via Nokia Software Updater application.

Spiffy & responsive, no problems so far, I like it. The color is gray/black, not first choice but it’s cool.
