Nokia 5800 Xpress Music Officially Launched in India

Nokia 5800 Xpress Music phone was officially launched in Mumbai today by their Indian Brand Ambassador- the very gorgeous Priyanka Chopra (Bollywood Actress). Priyanka was also presented with a special edition of 5800 from Nokia. The phone is now available for sale across India at Nokia shops.

The phone has a 3.2-inch screen with a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels and is the first Series 60 based touchscreen device from Nokia. This latest Nokia music phone also features built-in A-GPS, Nokia Maps, Wi-Fi, 8GB memory card included (upto 16 GB supported), 16:9 aspect ratio, 30 fps playback and recording, supports Flash content and lets you instantly share your favorite photos and video through online sharing sites just with a single touch. Nokia’s “Comes with Music” also finds its way in.

As we predicted earlier long ago about the price for India, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic handset is now available for Rs. 19,999 across all Nokia Priority dealers and other mobile retail outlets in West India. Though people from other parts of India are also reporting the price upto Rs.22,000, we hope to soon get a uniform price across India for Nokia 5800.
