Remember the insane amount of gossip about the Nokia Tube before it finally hit stores? Well, it’s all about to get going again, with its successor, the so–called Nokia 5900 XpressMusic, starring in its own string of leaked shots.
A number of pictures reveal what is said to be the Nokia 5900. The phone appears to be thinner than the 5800 and the word is it will feature a larger 3.5-inch touch-sensitive screen, along with a 3.5mm jack and a 5-megapixel camera. The source also claims the operating system remains the same as on the previous phone – Symbian S60 5th Edition.
On first thoughts the 5900 looks fake for a number of reason. Firstly, Nokia hasn’t confirmed anything to say that such a phone was in the works. Apparently there’s no 3G support which is hard to believe. More importantly, however, the leaked photos are coming out of some random source in China, a country that we’ve come to associate with product knockoffs and clones.
Still you never know what Nokia has in mind. We have seen how rumors about 5800 started spreading and then all turned out true when it was announced. Maybe that happen again this time too with this 5900 XpressMusic. We’ll be waiting for Nokia to make its official announcement soon if this is real.

Looks like fake to me. The plastic on the white model looks really cheap built. Also the front of the phone looks like some LG arena but with a different sticker. All in all, I don’t believe Nokia would approve such looks for their phone
Also, it looks like that instead of the LED flash beside the camera lens, there’s some sort of speaker protection mesh… again.. not Nokia style…
This phone looks like a flee market copy in comparison to 5800, let alone a successor to it.

Looks like fake to me, everyone noticed the top part of the phone where the 3.55mm jack and mini-USB port supposed to be placed? Where is it on the so called 5900 XpressMusic? at the sides of the phone? ha ha! IMO, it is completely a joke…

Sorry to say, but it doesn’t look nice. The screen is not well placed as the 5800. It doesn’t look solid. Seems like it might break with a little pressure from both hands. The so-called 5900 looks weird. Fake perhaps?

5800 have tflash too but the tflash on the phone is unprofessionel.

Either the 5800 XM or the 5900 was in the movie The Dark Knight. In the movie it has a media bar like the 5800 but the design is more like 5900, maybe a first prototype of 5800 and/or 5900.
