Nokia is gearing up with their “Nokia Tube 5800 model” to follow the leader and position its new phone with some of the interesting and unique features in parallel with the top brand. Because of the huge success of iPhone, Apple certainly brought a sort of insecurity in mobile market effecting several other mobile brands and Nokia is also one of the brands that suffered the punch of iPhone.
With similar look. Size and shape of iPhone, Nokia is going to launch first full touchscreen-enabled phone, alongwith a 3.2 MegaPixel camera,3G UMTS/HSDPA, quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM/EDGE radio and TV-Out port for a wide-screen view. The Nokia Tube 5800 touchscreen phone will supports Wireless LAN and Bluetooth with WiFi connectivity, it would lineup with GPS and 3.2 inch touchscreen display functionality alongwith 16 Million colors. In addition it will have 140MB internal memory, the Tube supports also SD memory card which is one of the prime feature of Nokia tube phone. Nokia Tube 5800 most likely seems to be the OS of choice for use in all Symbian-based touchscreen equipped devices.
An auto focus 3.2 megapixel camera in conjunction with the support for DVB-H technology would be one of the many features of this model. It would also support Java and a 3.2-inch touch sensitive display and the handset would be equipped with a direct upload feature for videos and images, bluetooth, WiFi capability, GPRS, 3.5mm earphone socket and a lot more.
Also known as the Nokia 5800 XpressMedia Phone, there are buzz about its different features and design spreading around the net for quite sometime, but so far the actual release date has been not yet finalized, however there are possibility that 8th October is the supposed launch date and it will be initially offered in the UK. However there are no specifications about the pricing and availability of the handset is yet confirmed.
