Nokia Tube 5800 XpressMusic passed the FCC tests with flying colors. FCC (Federal Communication Commission) is a US authority which examines the new mobile phones and decides if they should be allowed or not for sale. The regulatory approval to Nokia’s 5800 XpressMusic is a sign that the smartphone is set to launch anytime.
Another interesting thing to notice here is that the version which got approval is the one with dual-band 3G (900/2100MHz) which is designed for non-US markets probably. Another model of Nokia Tube with US 3G (HSDPA 850/1900 MHz) support is in the queue now for final approval with FCC.
This is a good news for Nokia fans and they can hope to get their hands on very soon for the much awaited Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.
