StyleTap’s Palm OS emulator now supports Symbian S60 5th Edition Phones, i.e Nokia 5800. That means, with StyleTap you can now run any of the 30,000+ applications and games (originally written for Palm OS devices) on your Nokia 5800 Phone perfectly.
What exactly is StyleTap? StyleTap is a sort of emulator that allows you to run Palm OS applications on different handsets and operating systems. They are around for quite sometime now and have upgraded their platform for the latest S60 V5 devices.
A major new feature included in the Symbian version is a display scaling enhancement that allows applications to run in “hi-resolution” (320×320) mode, meaning that apps should look pretty good with the resulting screen graphically scaled to the actual display size.
“With this support for Symbian devices, StyleTap-compatible applications now run on millions more mobile devices than applications for any other mobile platform,” said Gregory Sokoloff, president of StyleTap, “which gives mobile device users more flexibility in their hardware choices, and offers mobile application developers the largest potential market for their applications with no additional development work required.”
StyleTap Platform is fast, compact and comes with everything you need. Just add your favorite third-party applications for Palm OS platform and you’re ready to go!
Many of the 30,000+ apps available are freeware or free trials. So if you still miss some of those great old Palm applications sometimes, time now to turn them into S60 applications that can run perfectly on your 5800.

You can download a free 14-day trial here of StyleTap for Nokia 5800 or you can just buy the full license here for $49.95.
