I bought it too. Works fine and i dont think it slowed down my cell, its working same like earlier.
Yes i can use shortcuts on screen without clicking menu. Cool application.

Haha I should have researched a little more before posting, got too excited. Touchless UI is already in development and Nokia indeed has already submitted a patent for a touchless UI since back in beginning of 2008, maybe even earlier. I seriously cannot wait.

My app was pre-activated when I bought it. And no I do not lose the myphone screen after call end. I am luving it!!

If I recieve a call the myphone ap stays up , if I dial it goes to symbian when the call ends. Not really happy overall with the app. The changing of the screens is slow.

It works with firmware 20, but the directional pad is shown everytime and you can´t switch the pad off - so MyPhone is useless with the newest firmware.

Admin: I agree with thaidiver1 on this issue of delayed activation. I purchased this s/w yesterday. It allowed me to download the .sis file immediately and I then installed it right away.
During activation the message on the screen said “If it’s your first time to activate your IMEI, pls forward the buying confirmation receipt/ email and IMEI firstly to cs@mmmooo.com“. The message gives an option to Activate it using the phone internet connection but it failed several times. It must be because for first timers, the only option must be to send an email to them.
As of today there is no reply or activation from customer support. I don’t understand why the program would allow on-phone activating for susequent time (and not the first time).

No, you can not use Iphone applications on Nokia 5800 even with ‘MyPhone’. Its just a flash based application which gives your 5800 an Iphone look and feel with its interface.

Excellent but seems to be slowing down the response time. Also i have to make the unlock twise in order to use the phone. one time to unlock the handset by the side slider and second time to unlock th “MyPhone” application. Other wise it is great application.

I purchased the MyPhone app yesterday. Just that once I am done making a call, it returns to the nokia 5800 home screen ? Is there a way to get around this ? Any help would be appreciated. This is the reason why two other friends are hesitant to buy the app.
The app looks cool otherwise.

I agree that this is an impressive application, based on it’s functionability. However, I think it’s exaggerated that it “fully simulates” or “exceeds” iphone. The UI is still not as smooth as the Iphone. Unless you have the myphone theme, you constantly find yourself jumping between your Symbian UI and the Myphone UI. This disrupts the “iphone” feel. Also, pushing any of the physical buttons causes you to exit out of the application. This is expected of an app dependent on flash. Overall, i think it’s a good app, but i don’t think it lives up to the hype of fully simulating the iphone.

@Martin- you can’t run iphone applications on Nokia 5800 via Myphone.
Myphone is a flash based application which emulates the iphone interface on your screen.

I have paid the money in special offer as 8.99$ for Myphone. i have installed the application on my phone and applied as theme But not able to get i-phone like interface and dont know how to use that touch to unlock feature. I am feeling sad. Please help…

@sevenounce- Hi, if you have bought the MyPhone app theme, the application can be found at Menu -> Applications -> MyPhone. And the theme can be found and activated at Menu -> Settings -> Personal -> Themes -> General -> MyPhoneTube5800.
Let us know if you still have problem activating it.
