Twitter, a revolutionary micro-blogging platform with millions of users worldwide, is now available on Nokia 5800 in the form of Stew. This widget lets you view your Twitter stream, as well as post updates, right from your 5800 phone!
If you do not know about Twitter, it’s a great way for people to stay in touch with others and a quick way of getting snippets of news and gossip. With Twitter, you can stay hyper–connected to your friends and always know what they’re doing.
With this widget you can get the twitter on fullscreen on your Nokia 5800. Stew’s functionality is limited to reading updates and posting new ones on Twitter. You cannot reply to a contact, nor can you follow any links that your friends might have posted.
Still, its a cool free application and if you are a fond of Twitter, this is a must for you.

this is the best program for the nokia 5800 mobile but you know that this apps take from the memory alot of size also if it it take 1 mb
but there is an apps wich is cold palaringo that it include chatting program and voip and more and also it include twitter so this kind of twitter is going crazy in the phone ….

@Stephylicious- You need to install stew.wgz file in your phone. If you have Nokia PC Suite, launch the application installer in it and transfer the file from your pc to phone and follow on-screen instructions.
The application should be installed in memory card (E:\ Drive).

This is só cool! I’m a real Twitter addict and for some reason I just can’t logg in on twitter from my phone, so this is perfect!
QUESTION!!!:
If I use this app it asks me to connect. Does this mean connecting with internet? And does it mean with this the ‘real’ internet where I have to pay for or my free Wlan-internet that on my phone (how can I find out)?
PLEASE help me!

Awesome app! I have a Nokia E71 and it’s works beautifully on it. I have been looking for a free one for a while and this one is perfect for what I need. Great job!

Stew sounds great - but I’m having problems installing it on my Nokia 5800.
After downloading & unzipping Stew’s zip file on my pc, tried using Nokia Ovi Suite’s ‘Nokia Application Manager’ to install stew.wgz file, but .wgz file doesn’t appear on ‘My Computer’ side of installer & therefore can’t be installed. (I’ve had no problems installing other apps from sis files, but not .wgz files.)
Any help/ideas?

Stew is great - but I’ve noticed lately that I keep getting an ‘Authorisation Fail’. When I first started I never had this problem, now to send a simple tweet this is my process:
- Connect 5800 to internet
- Authorisation fail
- Login
- punch in tweet, hit ‘update’
- Authorisation Fail
- Login
- Tweet update sent
- Close
Anyone else got this problem?
