Write Quick Notes on Your Nokia 5800 with ‘ScratchPad’
Filed Under Nokia 5800 Applications
We sometimes need to write a quick note, phone number, reminder, etc. urgently but don’t find the pen or paper near us when we need the most. Does that happen with you too? If yes, this is the application for you.
ScratchPad is a free application for Nokia 5800 that turns your phone into a notepad. With it, you can take a note by simply writing on the phone display like a paper notepad. You can also turn pages or tear a page. Simple and quick.
ScratchPad developed by Bitsforfree is fully supported with the Symbian S60 5th edition phones like Nokia 5800, Nokia N97 and Samsung Omnia HD.
The stylus turns as a pen and the phone display as a notepad. Write as many notes as you want and save them if you like. You can save or delete notes, tear or turn the pages, erase the notes, undo what you just wrote, etc.
The pen size is little small in our opinion and there should be a way to choose the thickness level of it. It would also be nice if the application comes with an option to choose different colors. The application splashes the intro screen for a few seconds while starting/ shutting down which makes it a little slow.
But overall, its a cool and useful application to take notes on your phone.

When you download it, you get a zip file. I had to unzip it on my PC and then copy it over using PC Suite.
The startup splash is annoying. Seems to go on for ages before you can use the app.
Good idea, not very well implemented.
